“The location was beautiful and an easy drive to Queenstown. The cottage was lovely, cosy and warm, with everything we needed. Big area for the kids to play outside and they loved the friendly dogs!”

Fantastic little hideout to stay in queenstown for a family
“The hosts Michael, his wife and the two corgis were delightful. Just felt at home all the time.”
Not much we didn't like. Maybe the shower in the apartment style room could have a partition rather than the curtain. The curtain was bothersome.

“A fabulous great wonderful amazing location to stay at in Arthurs Point. A great place.to stay for visiting all the surrounding locations, like Queenstown and Arrowtown. We felt very relaxed and welcome staying here, with great local knowledge of the area given by out hosts Michael and Nery.”

“Our stay at the stone cottage was the highlight of our entire trip to New Zealand. My husband and I were traveling with our teenaged sons, and it was so great to get away from the craziness of Queenstown each evening and settle into our cottage. The grounds were absolutely breathtaking, as were the views. We hiked down to the river one morning and decided that private spot on the river is THE BEST rock skipping location on earth. Our boys loved the Corgi dogs who came to visit us each day, and also enjoyed having a bit more space for all of us to relax in...a big improvement from the rooms we rented elsewhere. The living room had places to stretch out upon, and we loved eating our meals out on the patio. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils and pots we needed, and I can't think of anything that was missing. I will say that the grounds and surroundings were SO LOVELY that we sometimes felt our boys were too loud and energetic (they are not poorly behaved...just teenagers). Michael and a Nery helped us get our bearings, told us the best places to park in Queenstown, and were very happy to answer our questions. The wifi was wonderfully strong, and the fresh flower arrangement on our dining room table was much appreciated. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you've got a car, STAY HERE!!”

Cherry Tree House is a lovely small stone cottage, close to the main house yet very private with its own private deck overlooking the Shotover river, hills and mountains. Gorgeous. The hosts were fantastic, friendly, conversational and made us some great breakfasts. The cottage is cosy and all decked with every convenience. Bedroom upstairs with small balcony. The whole property is awesome. You can't go wrong staying here. Just a quick 5 minute drive into Queenstown, or 10 minutes over to Arrowtown. Great location, but you do need a car.

“Michael and Nery's cottage was a perfect place to spend Christmas this year - was such a gorgeous place with a beautiful view of the Shotover River - we enjoyed a few cups of coffee on the patio overlooking it! It is a warm, cozy place and they were lovely hosts. We would happily stay there again if we ever revisit Queenstown. It was a short five minute drive to town, but a nice, peaceful place to unwind after a long day of hiking or adventure seeking. Thank you again for a great stay this holiday season!”

“We expected something very special and this place exceeded every expectation we could have had for it! It was close to town, close to every nature-oriented activity you

Glen P. Newcastle, Australia. A beautiful place in a beautiful location. Quiet and secluded with fantastic views. Michael and Nery were friendly and accomodating. Michael saved us by bringing our forgotten luggage to the airport! We wouldn't look anywhere else to stay for our next Queenstown trip.
Andrew_Burge Brisbane, Australia. Trelawn Place is a little way out of Queenstown on the gorge road to Arrowtown overlooking the Shotover River. Its quiet and serene, and the setting is spectacular. We stayed in the Cottage, which is cosy and rustic with its wood fire and quaint fitout. Really enjoyed our stay - recommended.
JillHat Wellington, New Zealand. We had a lovely 6 nights at Trelawn, accompanied by our adult daughter and two dogs. We stayed in the two-bedroom cottage which was very well appointed, very clean, comfortable and warm. The property is well off the road and very well fenced. The location is truly magical - beautifully kept grounds and an amazing view down on to the Shotover river and mountains beyond. Michael and Nery are wonderful hosts - they were around when needed but gave us plenty of privacy too. The property is handy to central Queenstown - only a 10 min drive away. About halfway into the main town there is a good supermarket and also Rayward Fresh, provider of upmarket grocery provisions and fresh food - including beautiful Bluff oysters! Trelawn is also very handy if you are skiing at Coronet Peak - the turnoff is only a few minutes up the road. The location of Trelawn meant we could head out and about through Dalefield and avoid the terrible traffic holdups that are now occurring coming into Queenstown around Frankton and the main road into town (State Highway 6A).
Alyson C Melbourne, Australia. We stayed in the garden apartment for a week and had the best holiday ever. Trelawn offers supreme accommodation set in idyllic grounds surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It exceeded our expectations. Michael and Nary couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Their corgis really made us feel at home and it was wonderful to see our 4yo running around the grounds with them. We can't recommend Trelawn highly enough and hope that other travellers share the same fun filled experience. We didn't want to leave and hope to return.
Sally h Western Australia, Australia. Trelawn place was a highlight to my holiday to New Zealand, I didn't want to leave. Nery and Micheal were lovely hosts and turned on the kiwi hospitality. The views were stunning and sitting in the spa with a bottle of champers over looking the valleys was so relaxing. The cottage was clean and well equip with all your needs, having a washing machine and dryer was also useful. I enjoyed the morning and afternoon visits from the dogs and cats. Trelawn is the ideal location and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Mark N Auckland, New Zealand. Perfect setting made our 5 night stay very relaxing. Enjoyed the spaciousness and garden with nice views of the Shotover River. Michael hosted us well helped by the Corgis and Cats. Local knowledge of the Queenstown area was appreciated
Julie K. We had our wedding here most amazing place and perfect for people wanting privacy with breath taking views.

,thank Nery for you welcome and beautiful place x
Claire Bevan, Paris France. Trelawn place has everything one could wish for. Adorable hosts, stunning view over the river, beautiful house, pretty rooms, really nice breakfast, fun dogs and purring cats.
The place is obviously a work of love, every detail is thought of, the garden is luscious and dreamy, the house beautifully built and decorated. Trelawn place has a british cottage charm that made our stay in Queenstown restful and cozy. When we arrived and saw the place we didn't want to go out anymore, we just wanted to enjoy the quiet cottage, the jacuzzi overlooking the view, the terrace surrounded with roses, it was hard to leave.
hqalley Hotchkiss USA. This is a fairy tale place. The location is breathtaking with a fabulous view of the river. The gardens and structure of the cottages is very English garden. The wisteria is lush, the terraced rose plantings are amazing, the trees are mature and the lawn perfect.
A TripAdvisor Member Our stay in the cherry treehouse cottage was so memorable. We had breathtaking views of the river, beautiful surrounding gardens and wonderful hosts Michael and Nery as well as the resident corgis! We had activities planned in queenstown but cancelled them so that we could enjoy the atmosphere at Trelawn. We will definitely return!
